More and more brands and looking for social brand ambassadors to sign their praises on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Many brands send out sample cloth diapers to test their new product or to promote on social media by posting pictures.
Of course, brands don’t choose anyone and give away diaper for free. You need to be already using and loving their brand; you can take clear pictures of your baby and share it on social media.
Just like being a brand ambassador, you will have to build loyalty with the brand or retailer before you can become their affiliate. Affiliate programs are generally open for bloggers and influencers ( meaning you need to have a social following), but small shops are flexible when they know you personally.
Best way to do this is you form a cloth diaper group on facebook or online forum locally or with your friends. You can keep them updated by the retailer’s sale news, they can use your links to buy diapers, and you can earn commission.
Another way retailers can work with you is making you responsible for promoting on their Facebook /Instagram group and give you a referral code to use.
You need to disclose that you will receive a referral commission, don’t be sneaky. Also, don’t do link exchanges, meaning you purchase using your friends’ link and vice versa. Retailers can quickly figure this out, and you will only earn a bad reputation.
